[Macau, For Immediate Release] – Winners of China’s Wine List of The Year Awards 2018 were announced on 26 June 2018. Grand Lisboa Hotel is pleased to receive six awards. Robuchon au Dôme, The 8 and Casa Don Alfonso have received the “3 Glass Award” (Excellent), while The Kitchen received “2 Glass Award” (Outstanding). Also, Grand Lisboa Hotel has received the “Best Hotel Group Wine List – Outstanding” award, and Robuchon au Dôme has been honoured with the highest recognition, “China’s Wine List of the Year Hall of Fame Awards”. All these accolades are significant and reflect the upscale and ultimate dining experience and services of Grand Lisboa Hotel and demonstrate its dedication in offering top dining venues in Macau. The hotel also holds Asia’s most extensive wine collection with more than 16,800 labels.

The Wine List of the Year Awards was founded by Tucker Seabrook (established in 1838), which is aimed at accrediting and honouring those restaurants and sommeliers who have spent time, techniques and resources to improve the quality of their wine lists. This year is the sixth year for the Wine List Awards in China. In 2012, the founder of the International Wine List of the Year Awards, Rob Hirst, and the founder of the China National Sommelier Competition, Tommy Lam, launched China’s Wine List of the Year Awards (2013) in China, starting off the Wine List Awards in the country.
