In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, Grand Lisboa Hotel’s Michelin 3-star Cantonese restaurant – The 8 – is proud to present a variety of authentic, homemade mooncakes, masterfully prepared by Dim Sum Head Chef Yah Wah Fai. In keeping with tradition, Chef Yah and his team of dim sum chefs will once again handcraft The 8 Mooncake with Double Egg Yolk and Lotus Seed Paste – a true Grand Lisboa classic. For the first time, The 8 is also introducing two new varieties of homemade mini mooncakes: The 8 Bird’s Nest and Custard Mini Mooncake and The 8 Tangerine Peel and Red Bean Mini Mooncake. The popular custard mooncakes are infused with luxurious bird’s nest, while the red bean mooncakes are given a dose of precious 30 years aged tangerine peel for good health. Each mooncake from The 8 is meticulously handcrafted by our talented dim sum chefs for all to enjoy this Mid-Autumn.
