[Macau, For Immediate Release] – Grand Lisboa Hotel begins 2020 on a high note with prestigious culinary award wins from China’s Meituan-Dianping 2020 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide and Macau’s Phoenix Skyscape Economic and Cultural & Creative Association.

On January 9, the Meituan-Dianping 2020 Black Pearl Restaurant Guide hosted an awards event in Macau to reveal this year’s winners. The 2020 guide includes a total of 789 restaurants covering 22 cities across Mainland China and five overseas cities. In Macau alone, 32 restaurants were selected, and among them, three of the restaurants are at Grand Lisboa. The highest honour of a 3-Diamond rating has been given to Robuchon au Dôme and both The 8 and The Kitchen received 1-Diamond ratings. This is the second time for Robuchon au Dôme to receive 3 Diamonds. Grand Lisboa was also honoured at another awards ceremony held by Phoenix Skyscape Economic and Cultural & Creative Association on the same day. The association recognised Grand Lisboa with two significant honours: “Most Valuable Brand – Hotel/Food & Beverage in Greater China” as well as “Most Valuable Wine Cellar in Greater China”.

Mr. Jonas Schuermann, Managing Director, Hospitality Services of SJM S.A. said: “As Macau’s leading dining destination, we remain committed in our role to promote Macau as a UNESCO-designated Creative City of Gastronomy.
