Celebrate the festive holidays with Christmas carols, Michelin-starred dining and specially crafted holiday hampers full of sweet surprises

[Macau, For Immediate Release] – Grand Lisboa Hotel will soon be spreading Christmas cheer all throughout the festive month of December. In the heart of the Grand Lisboa lobby, young students from The International School of Macau (TIS) Crescendo Choir will sing a medley of Christmas carols to get everyone into the spirit of the season. Guests will also discover a Christmas Hamper House with specially handcrafted hampers from Casa Don Alfonso packed with organic ingredients fresh from the Don Alfonso farm in Italy. And, in keeping with the Grand Lisboa holiday tradition, Robuchon au Dôme and The Kitchen are serving exceptional holiday dinners to celebrate Christmas and the arrival of a New Year.

Young Voices Light Up the Holidays

On December 17 and 18, the Grand Lisboa lobby will be filled with the youthful and cheerful voices of the TIS Crescendo Choir as they sing Deck the Halls, Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer and many more holiday classics. Grand Lisboa has invited the primary school students between the ages of 5 and 12 from the TIS Crescendo Choir to perform these festive Christmas carols for guests from around the world to enjoy.

Michelin-starred Festive Dining

Grand Lisboa’s Michelin three-starred Robuchon au Dôme, renowned for its exceptional French cuisine and spectacular views overlooking the Macau skyline, will serve the dinners on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.

For those who prefer premium meat and seafood dishes, the Michelin-starred The Kitchen at Grand Lisboa, is offering enticing Christmas and New Year’s menus. For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the special set dinner menus feature a choice of Grilled Lobster with Garlic and Herbs or Beef Tournedos Rossini for the entrées with a delicious Cassis Mousse with Chestnut and Vanilla Flavor for dessert. To welcome the arrival of 2020, The Kitchen has specially crafted a New Year’s Eve set dinner menu featuring Grilled Fresh Abalone with Maitake Mushroom; Iberico Pork Rack; Grilled U.S. Prime Beef Fillet with Tiger Prawns and for dessert, a Dark Chocolate Mousse with Champagne and Grapefruit Jelly. All three menus are priced at MOP 1,600* per person. For New Year’s Day, the dinner menu features French Oysters on Ice; Lobster Bisque; Roasted Australia Rack of Lamb; Miso Glazed U.S. Black Cod Fillet or Beef Tournedos Rossini and is priced at MOP 1,000* per person.

Take Home a Holiday Hamper

This Christmas, guests can take home the flavours of Italy, as Casa Don Alfonso has crafted very special Christmas hamper baskets full of organic ingredients, fresh from the Don Alfonso family farm known as “Le Peracciole” in Sant’Agata. Some of the homemade Italian ingredients include Don Alfonso olive oil, mandarine marmalade, “Le Peracciole” honey and organic tomato paste. And, in a toast to the New Year, this very special hamper includes a bottle of Arlaux Champagne. Arlaux is renowned for only using their own, hand-picked grapes that come from 20- to 100-year-old vines, to ensure only the best are selected for this celebratory champagne.

Also available at the Hamper House are beautifully decorated Grand Lisboa Christmas Hampers full of homemade holiday sweets including chocolate Christmas trees, an assortment of Grand Lisboa chocolates, ginger cookies, a Christmas log cake and more.

The Casa Don Alfonso Christmas Hamper Basket is priced at MOP 2,388 each. Orders are available from now until 23 December 2019. A minimum of two working days is required for all orders and are available for collection at the Hamper House.
